Here's a few words from my first couple, Scott and Rachelle McGhee pictured above -
"It was a happy coincidence that in our search for an officiant for our ceremony, my father mentioned knowing someone personally who might be right for the task. He knew we were seeking someone who was kind, thoughtful, unstuffy--someone who cared about relationships and the union that was going to cement our most important day. We had a feeling from the first email correspondence that Kaje Thomas was all of these things, and the moment we met her we were convinced she was the perfect fit for our personalities and expectations of the wedding ceremony. We connected with her immediately and left her office smiling, pleased that everything had fallen into place.
Several months later, it was time to walk down the "aisle" at Kubota Garden in southeast Seattle. Kaje presided over our very intimate ceremony of 8 guests, and, of course, Scott and I both cried (especially me) through the entire 10-minute exchange. It was certainly due to the strong emotions we felt for one another, but it was no less because we were living out our dream wedding in the presence of our families and led by a person we felt so close to. (And we were touched when Kaje later confessed she was holding back tears upon witnessing it too!) We were thrilled to profess our love to one another and be joined in marriage by someone we felt so close to. To put it simply: everything about our day was unforgettable. Thank you Kaje!!!"
